The Gift of Music

Many people struggle translating their feelings into words, and some struggle to feel at all. I love music so much because it puts words to inexplicable emotions, and has the power to move even the hardest of hearts. I’m not here to be famous or to “wow” the world by the music I create. I’m here because God has given me the gift of music, and God doesn’t give out gifts for us to keep to ourselves. You have been given the gift of music, too. You may not be able to play or sing or write, but you CAN listen. If you are unable to hear, you can still feel. Our God-given gifts, when used correctly, become gifts to the people around us. I pray that the songs I write become beacons of hope for you. I pray that they shed light on pain that feels too deep for words. I give these songs to you as a gift. Thank you so much for listening.
